Biography
Tripp is a very reserved and eager to please. He is in the fourth grade at Foster Park Elementary School where he has made all "A’s" since he began school. He is well liked by his teachers as well as his fellow classmates. He looks forward "Race Weekends" where he spends time with family and friends from the tracks. He is a good sport whether he wins or not.
Racing Background
Tripp began racing in 2003 on KTM 50. He raced at several local tracks and won Track Champion in the 50 4-6 class at SFMX in the Winter 2004. He was growing fast and had to move to the 50 7-8 class because he could no longer ride the smaller bike. He began to aspire to race more competition. He raced the complete ULTRA series 50 7-9 class in 2005. As soon as the season ended, he moved to 65 class for 2006. In January of 2007, he broke his arm. This made him miss the beginning of the race season for 2007. He’ll be riding Yamaha 85 for the Fall of 2007.
Goals for 2007
Tripp plans to run the complete Ultra series this year as well as race as many local races as possible. His plans include training with Billy Liles and practicing every weekend that he is not racing. He plans to make the SE regional at Muddy Creek with hopes of making the trip to Loretta Lynn’s National in August.
